Middle School Training on Maui: Design & Modeling

PLTW_3vertimagesProject Lead the Way is hosting a training on Maui in July for the Middle School Gateway Program!  Design and Modeling, a foundation unit of the program, involves a 5-Day Core Training that prepares teachers to implement this 9-week unit that engages students in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science through project and problem based learning!  Don’t miss out on this opportunity!

PLTW Middle School Gateway – Design & Modeling Core Training  July 11-15
A 5-Day Training at Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus: 
 Cost: $1,200 Lunches Included**
Participants will:

  • Discover how the PLTW Design and Modeling 9-Week unit of curriculum integrates Engineering, Computer Science, and Biomedical Science
  • Engage in Student Learning Activities, Projects, and Problems
  • Apply the Engineering Design Process to Solve Real World Challenges
  • Learn to apply the use of 3D Modeling Software
